A huge thank you to all our generous supporters

We’re very pleased to be able to offer our support to Young Art Cardiff in their work to raise valuable funds for Cancer Research UK.

Whitchurch (Cardiff) Camera Club
Whitchurch (Cardiff) Camera Club has supported us by photographing all the artwork that has been selected for display in the exhibition, and taking photographs at the opening ceremony of the exhibition for future use. Steve Collins, the Chair of Whitchurch (Cardiff) Camera Club, has told us:
Whitchurch (Cardiff) Camera Club were contacted a while ago by Young Art Cardiff telling us about the new initiative to raise funds for Cancer Research UK’s ‘Kids and Teens’ appeal. This was a project we felt we wanted to be part of to help young people raise much needed money for such a worthy cause. We were impressed with the great enthusiasm shown by the organisers at Young Art Cardiff, and our Club Members helped the project by photographing the competition artwork for the Exhibition Catalogue. We at Whitchurch (Cardiff) Camera Club hope this will be a very successful project for all involved and hopefully this could become a regular event in Cardiff in the future.
Dr Rachel Collis
Dr Rachel Collis has kindly donated prizes for the winners of “Highly commended” artwork. She told us:
I feel that art related prizes for the runners-up will raise the profile of the competition and hopefully increase the likelihood of longevity which would be great for raising the profile of art and competition.
